UI: Policy sets
Reference for the policy set list, the create/detail/edit views, and the publish, unpublish and delete flows.
List
Route: /policies. Your policy sets with a visibility filter — all,
private, public, or pending. Private sets are usable only by your org;
public sets have cleared moderation; pending sets are awaiting review.
Create
Route: /policies/new. Author a set: name it and define which tags or
categories it judges against and what raises an alert. Attach the set to
a campaign so its runs are judged by it.
Detail / edit
Route: /policies/:id. A read-only view with an edit panel. Which
publication action you see depends on the set's current state:
- Request public approval — on a private set. Moves it into the pending/moderation state so an administrator can publish it for wider use.
- Cancel request — on a pending set. Withdraws it from the moderation queue and returns it to private.
- Unpublish — on an approved public set. Removes it from the shared catalog and returns it to private.
- Delete — available for a set you own, behind a confirmation dialog.
- Set as default / Remove default — marks this owned set as the
one new campaigns pick when
policy_set_idis omitted. At most one default per organization; removing it leaves new campaigns unbound until another set is marked.
All four need the policies.manage permission and only apply to sets
your organization owns.
