Billing, quotas & top-ups

Understand your plan and balance, review usage and invoices, and top up by bank transfer or crypto.

Everything about what you can run and what it costs lives under Billing.

Summary

The billing page shows your current balance, plan, and quota, plus a low-balance banner and any scheduled plan change. From here you can open the Change plan dialog to upgrade or downgrade.

Changing your plan

Open Change plan, pick the plan you want, then choose when the switch should happen:

  • At the end of the current period — you keep the checks you have already paid for, and the new plan starts as the current one ends.
  • On a specific date — any date up to the end of the current period.
  • Immediately — the new plan starts straight away.

Switching before the current period ends forfeits the included checks you have not used, and the new plan is charged in full for a fresh period. The dialog tells you how many checks you would lose before you confirm. Queueing a switch moves no money now — the new plan is charged when it starts.

A switch date can never fall after the end of the current period, so you are never left without a plan.

Only one switch can be queued at a time. While it is pending, the billing page shows the date and the plan it moves you to, and you can cancel it or choose a different plan right up until it applies. Queueing works in both directions — towards a larger plan or a smaller one.

Plan changes are locked while a subscription is suspended for an unpaid renewal. Top up first, and the switch becomes available again.

Usage and invoices

A usage period summary links to a per-scan usage breakdown. The invoices table lists issued invoices; open one to view its detail and download the PDF.

Crypto and card top-ups settle inside the checkout session, so the document you keep for them is the receipt — the proforma behind such a payment is internal bookkeeping and stays out of the table until the payment lands. Bank transfers are the opposite: the unpaid proforma is listed straight away, because you need it to make the transfer.

Topping up

Press Top up to open the top-up dialog. Two methods are available today — bank transfer (a proforma is issued; balance credits once the payment is confirmed) and crypto (settles directly to your balance on confirmation). Card payments are coming soon. After a provider redirect you land on a success or cancel page that polls the session status.

A bank transfer credits the amount that actually arrived, net of VAT. When the sum received differs from the proforma — an underpayment, or a wire that arrived minus the bank's fee — the balance follows the money that landed, not the amount billed. If we later correct what was recorded for a payment, the difference appears in your balance history as its own invoice payment correction entry rather than by editing the original one, so the history always reconciles.

Receipts

Every settled top-up produces a receipt PDF. It is emailed with the PDF attached and stays downloadable from the invoices table. The receipt carries the requisites that were current when the payment was made, so editing your Billing & tax details later never rewrites a document you already hold — the new details apply from your next payment.

Receipts go to the Billing email on your organization settings when you set one, and to the address the account was registered with when you do not.

When billing blocks an action

If running scans would exceed your plan or balance, a billing-blocked dialog appears in Campaigns, Groups, or Rules explaining whether to top up or upgrade.
